Our Vision
The Climate Resilience Project is also committed to fostering tangible and lasting change through the establishment of the CRP Resource Network: a network of companies and non-profit organizations either working in the domain of socio-economic upliftment, or with Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives that could aid the long-term social and economic development of the residents of Beed.
Thus far, the CRP Resource Network has been in contact with the Swades Foundation, and the Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA), both large organisations known for rural empowerment.
The CRP project had very inspiring meetings with Mrs. Zarina Screwvala and Mr. Mangesh Wange, CEO of the Swades Foundation. They have offered to support NVSK and have invited them to come to Swades' hub in Raigad or Nashik:
-
Learn about their Administative, HR model, Donor Management model
-
Experience their 4 E's model - Engage, Empower, Execute and Exit and and learn about their failures
-
Share best practices in sanitation, health, vocations, water conservation and education fields
Mrs. Mrinal Kher of KSWA has offered to send her local team to Beed to assist with targeted skilling and vocational workshops such as pottery, painting, and a myriad of other courses in order to contribute to the upliftment of grassroots communities.
